It's time to go public.

If you have made the decision to follow Christ, it's time to take the next step and go public through water baptism.

What is water baptism?

Mark 1:4-5 says, "This messenger was John the Baptist. He was in the wilderness and preached that people should be baptized to show that they had repented of their sins and turned to God to be forgiven." (NLT)

Baptism is a public declaration of your salvation and faith. Water baptism parallels salvation and Christ's resurrection. Being fully immersed in water represents being buried with Christ. As you are raised from the water, you are showing that you were raised with Christ to new life. (Colossians 2:12 NLT)

Why water baptism?

"Peter's words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and the other apostles, 'Brother, what should we do?' Peter replied, 'Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day." (Acts 2:38-39, 41a NLT) God tells us in His Word that we should be water baptized. We believe that people should be baptized to show that they have been saved, forgiven, and given a new life. (Mark 1:4 NLT) In Matthew 3:13-16, Jesus sets the example by also being baptized. He does so out of obedience to what God calls us to do. Because of this, we believe that we too should obey God and be water baptized.

When should I be water baptized?

Almost every baptism that we see recorded in the Bible is immediately after salvation. Because of this, we believe that it is important to be baptized as soon as you possibly can after you are saved. We host baptisms event all throughout the year. If you have been saved, and have not been baptized yet, we invite you to register for the next baptism event! Click below to register now!
